I don't get sick very offen but this one got me this year. Firefly was sick from last Saturday until about friday morning and then I picked it up friday night and am almost over it...I'm hoping tomorrow it will be gone. Right now all that remains is some really stuffed sinuses and runny nose in the evening.
Anyone have some good "cures" for the common cold? Extra points if whisky is involved!
In other more important news, the engagment party we went to for Firefly's cousin turned out to be a surprise wedding! I'm happy to report that a good time was had by all :)
In other less important news, the pressure switch I made for the cats is working great but the cats haven't figured how to use it yet...Oh well.

I love a Hot Toddy when I am not feeling so good. Something like this:
1 1/2 ounces Whiskey
1 ounce Honey
1/3 ounce Lemon Juice
3 ounces Water
Bring to a boil... then drink.
Done and Done! Next time I get sick, I'm gonna try this
